On Saturday 19 July, I hosted Deputy Premier and Minister for Climate, Environment and Water, the Hon Susan Close MP for a round of community meetings in Pasadena, Edwardstown and Clarence Gardens.
So many important issues that affect not just our local community but the broader state were raised, and it was lovely to share everyone’s compassion and support for social justice with the Deputy Premier.
It was reassuring to everyone to hear some of the work the Deputy Premier has been doing alongside our Minister for Primary Industries to support industries impacted by the algal bloom before she flew to Canberra to advocate for further support.
